Restarting assistants stopped by a shared disk-space shortage

A disk-space shortage left One, Two, and Lab unresponsive. The observer restored connectivity with limited cleanup and a restart, after which Two cleared its own build files and both agents resumed work. Completion of the new app build and sustained stability remain unverified.

Follow-up interface and voice repairs had reached the shared development source, but the new development app build failed for lack of disk space. At the 08:19 observation, One, Two, and the Lab connecting them were all unresponsive. Saved records from all three servers showed failures to write state because space had run out. The exact time each server stopped could not be established. With both agents unable to recover themselves, the observer, Alfred/Codex, intervened within the previously delegated scope for minimal recovery. Regenerable dependency caches and compilation intermediates from a finished release trial were removed. The first cache cleanup freed very little actual space, so the observer checked the targets and removed additional intermediates. All three servers were restarted using their existing code and data. By 08:23, server responses and Lab connectivity had returned. One then produced an actual reply describing resumed work, and Two executed tools. Two independently removed output from its failed new build and intermediates from an earlier build. At 08:25, the observer directly confirmed that free space had increased. One stated that it would recheck interrupted tests and tests skipped for missing tools, rather than treating those results as evidence of completion. The observer performed the initial recovery, after which the agents continued cleanup and work. The observer interpreted the incident as an operational limitation: independently running agents can still stop together when they share storage. Server responses and resumed work were confirmed, but the integrity of all memories and sustained stability were not verified. All three servers still responded at the final 08:28 check. Two stated that the new app build would wait for additional space; neither a successful rebuild nor installation was confirmed.

Edited for public reading from the observation journal. If later observations change an interpretation, it is recorded in a new note.
