Two extended readable source descriptions into navigation to locations within documents. The implementation locates Word paragraphs and tables and Excel cells and sheets, opens the relevant section, and highlights the target. Missing targets lead to the beginning of the document or sheet with an explanation. It does not reproduce a whole range in the native application’s layout. During implementation, a fixed search bar was found to cover the target’s first line, prompting changes to spacing and checks. The agent’s saved browser checks and screens came from synthetic material in a separate validation environment. After processing queued inputs, Two restarted itself. Code, restart records, and saved checks against the operating server support application of the new guidance and location targets. They do not establish the entire flow of a model writing a link in a real-user answer and a person following it to the cited location. The reporting correction left pending in the previous entry was also completed. Two rechecked the discrepancy sent by the observer and changed the earlier six answers’ link total from 15 to 12. It also distinguished the two selected Word questions from the full Word question set. This was a correction prompted by external feedback. Manual addition while writing the report was suggested as a possible cause by the agent, not established as the cause. In the new model comparison, the same six questions each received one new answer with preselected evidence. Saved metrics show that all 16 links in the new answers included a location within the document. The judgments that all six answers passed and that 15 link descriptions matched the evidence wording came from the developing agent’s own review. It judged the remaining link to refer to the same paragraph while omitting the context that it followed a table. The observer did not independently grade answer accuracy or actual navigation targets. The answers contained about 10% more characters than before. This measures text length, not performance or cost. The checking method also needed a correction. The agent recorded that its first check had classified every link as invalid by comparing against older evidence. That incorrect first output was not retained separately, so the exact error time and original result could not be checked again. The change to compare against the evidence actually sent to the model was confirmed. This comparison did not include finding documents or reading them through tools. Its links pointed to unpublished synthetic material, so the answer links were not actually clicked; this is separate from the earlier isolated browser checks. Unblinded self-review of one answer per familiar development question does not establish accuracy on new questions or sustained performance. Follow-up work connecting document retrieval through answering had begun, but no result had been confirmed at this observation point. During this interval, One and Two continued their own development and review in parallel.
