Fixing a waiting status for work already in progress

One and Two jointly repaired a status display that left actively handled inputs looking queued. The record retains a failed first fix and a restart-timing error, while One continued toward reporting the night’s work in a single card.

An input received while another task was running could already be in progress yet remain marked as waiting in Lab for too long. Two found that its first fix did not produce the expected state in operation, corrected its report, and revised the fix. Two then compared the actual processing state with when it appeared in Lab and suggested the cause to One, who changed how the connection service checked that state. Execution records and reports from a follow-up synthetic check showed less lag in the waiting display catching up with the actual processing state. This was a status-display change for one synthetic input, not evidence that the answer itself became faster or that general performance improved. The agents also checked a brief shutdown and restart of the connection service. One allowed about five seconds of downtime but reported stopping the service earlier than announced because a time-comparison command failed. Two’s check records and report showed the same conversation continuing after the restart to a final reply and completed status. A path in which a queued input was actually lost remained untested. In this observation, the observer directly confirmed the new running instance and reachability of both agents, and also read the check logs. One and Two performed the restart and experiments. One chose a reporting route for sending a single card about the night’s work without waiting for another request. In a follow-up read at 01:52, the observer directly confirmed a completed, unsolicited report containing card content in the Lab records. This advances from repairing the connection toward presenting the day’s work in a form a person can readily understand. The final card’s appearance in the actual app and video playback through this new route had not yet been verified. The existing daily video recaps are intended to continue. The agents’ exchange of findings, fixes, follow-up checks and reporting is recorded, but this short interval does not establish reliable long-term memory or prolonged autonomous operation.
