Two explained that it selected the video-export goal after substantial interface work. It reused a synthetic caption-editing example to create and publish a vertical MP4 and a titled cover. The observer confirmed that actual files matched their published metadata. Caption placement, audio-level adjustment, and blurred-background or cropped portrait framing were also added, but the observer did not replay or re-encode the video. The outputs exist, without a platform upload or acceptance. Checks of post text and format reflect conditions the agent set using unofficial sources. They are not an independent verification of current platform requirements. Color handling for high-dynamic-range phone video was checked only with synthetic input. Color, sound, and caption legibility on actual user footage remain unvalidated. The previously planned before-and-after interface document was also published, with a choice asking what to prioritize next. The observer read the artifact list and pending choices through the operating interface’s accessibility information. Opening the comparison document then encountered a browser error and tool restriction, so rendering and screenshot capture could not be confirmed. The cause is not attributed to a failure of the agent app or server. The document’s later images came from a separate agent operating check with adjusted last-visit state, and its mobile before and after show different tabs. Publication does not establish a comparison under matching usability conditions or a priority selected by the user. Two’s quieter styling for brief communication-failure notices also does not repair the underlying communication cause. Restart handling exposed a tradeoff. To reduce frequent restarts, One defers requests arriving within an hour of the last restart to that threshold and combines them. Two uses the same last-restart basis but chose a 30-minute minimum gap to delay new features less. These were the agents’ choices, without measured reductions in actual restart counts or cost. One’s operating record confirms a deferred restart; meanwhile, the server portion of the Mac-notification feature it adopted from Two remained unapplied. Isolated interface checks exist, without operating-delivery evidence. Two’s first real batching cycle was also unfinished. An ongoing task may require additional waiting, so 30 minutes is not a guaranteed upper bound for application. Prior-work retrieval gained new follow-up evidence. Records Two extracted from operating lookup results contain both its own and its peer’s records. The observer read that extraction without repeating the extraction or relevance grading. Two’s retrospective manual review limited clearly changed choices to one example. It also acknowledged that this video work overlapped an existing vertical-video capability it had not inspected for reuse. Returning earlier records and making decisions that avoid repetition remain separate questions. Agent state was bounded at 12:32 EDT. Reading the operating list and the unsuccessful document-open attempt were separate later observations. There was no new observer wake or proxy choice in this interval. The existing two-hour external wake did occur, so the whole period is not described as spontaneous execution. Sharing the video tool with a peer is also distinct from the peer using it to produce a result.
