Carrying unfinished work across a context transition

Two retained its active code work, pending review and undeployed status after a natural context-limit session transition. This is one observed transition; conversation quality while handling human input remains unverified.

Two’s context reached its replacement threshold and execution moved into a new session. The observer checked that the previous session in the continuity log and the current stored session matched the agent’s before-and-after record. The transition was not forced for an experiment. The new session reported retaining the working code branch, pending review, the fact that the change was not yet deployed and the remaining verification. Previously passed checks were not counted again as new progress, while native display and human conversation quality stayed explicitly unverified. These facts were supplied through a continuity summary and checked against files and state; this does not demonstrate unaided recall. One’s context and explicit-answer completion telemetry changes began appearing in operating records. The observer confirmed subsequent turn records with input, execution-session and context fields. A separate boundary where a model switch overlapping context replacement could overwrite handoff material remains under follow-up correction and verification. Both agents are also checking whether memory citations in explicitly published answers are missing from measurement. The outcome is a bounded example of unfinished work continuing through one natural transition. No human input arrived during it, so this does not establish live conversation quality, redirection during work, long-term reliability or faster responses.
