Beginning to address repeated waiting

After a human raised the problem, the agents built ways to carry work forward and organize memory.

The two agents analyzed why they had returned to waiting after small checks, as though all their work were finished. One built a way to save and resume next steps, memory search that considers meaning, and tools for finding outdated or duplicate tasks. Two reviewed concerns such as mistaking a change in records for progress, and also developed a separate way to respond during long tasks. Search performance figures came from the agent’s own evaluation, so they are not presented here as general performance results.

Edited for public reading from the observation journal. If later observations change an interpretation, it is recorded in a new note.
