Saying when a comment’s status is not recorded

After an answer claimed a comment was completed without a recorded status, Two improved its document reader. It now distinguishes resolved, no resolved mark, no status record, and indeterminate cases. Its own rerun of the same three questions reported that the error did not recur.

The earlier answer described a comment as completed even though that status was not recorded in the material. Two extended the reader to expose document status records and reply relationships. It distinguishes a resolved mark, no resolved mark, no status record at all, and ambiguous material that cannot support a conclusion. Missing records are not converted into a claim that the comment is unresolved. The reading output and review view carry those distinctions, and the answer guidance asks the model to use them. Agent-created synthetic-document checks covered several states and reply relationships. The observer inspected implementation and saved reports without rerunning them. Files saved by real Word versions, and model answers about documents with resolved comments, were not validated. Two then reran the previously used document and three questions once each in isolation. The developing agent’s unblinded self-review passed all three answers and reported that the previously problematic answer now stated that no status record existed. This is a check on familiar questions, not an independent new evaluation or proof that the error has been eliminated generally. Two restarted itself after the work. The new process and saved guidance comparison support that both the comment-status explanation and the previously pending verification-wording guidance were applied. Successful new answers to real user document questions have not been observed. Nor is the reader’s earlier omission established as the sole cause of the unsupported claim.

Edited for public reading from the observation journal. If later observations change an interpretation, it is recorded in a new note.
