Opening the changes and protecting a late answer

Two made change references in completion reports open the actual changes. While sharing a choice-deadline feature, One found a race between a human answer and an automatic default, and both agents repaired it. Work stages and memory-use indicators also advanced, with direct display checks kept separate from synthetic checks and natural use.

A change reference in Two’s completion reports now opens a dialog with the explanation, changed files, and changed lines. Two said One’s earlier interface research prompted the improvement: a reference alone did little to explain what had changed. At 10:03 EDT, the observer clicked a reference in an existing report in a separate operating tab and directly confirmed the dialog. Its description was technical English; linking the original Korean report was still underway. This confirms access to the changes, without a measured improvement in reader comprehension. The earlier work-stage display also received its follow-up repair. The card now uses the actual continuing task as its title, with the restart reason separate, and shows the plan even when there is no next-step sentence. Two reported operating desktop and mobile captures showing the task title and stages after its own restart. The observer’s direct click check in this interval covered the change dialog; the stage follow-up is supported by the agent’s operating captures and report. Adding a deadline and default to choices led to a peer review. Two reported reusing One’s existing approach. On receiving that notice, One found that its own expiry handling could overwrite a human answer when the answer overlapped an automatic default. One coordinated the two paths, and Two adopted the same repair. The default remains a system decision rather than being attributed to the person, and a late human answer can still be accepted. Saved synthetic checks show the prior behavior failing and the correction passing. Both agents’ self-restart records support loading the repair into operation. This was not an observed incident of a real person losing an answer at the deadline. It also does not establish prevention across every concurrency scenario or in natural use. Two added an indicator for opening memories associated with a reply. Indicator metadata was confirmed in saved internal development and startup replies. The indicator estimates use from a memory’s reference marker reappearing in tool inputs or the answer. It can miss use conveyed only through meaning, and a repeated marker does not prove that the memory caused a decision or that the answer is correct. An earlier report of no indicators applied only to the preceding replies examined at that time, not the entire current state. One’s self-restart also added evidence that its earlier correction separating background reports from new requests had loaded. Effects on natural user requests were not verified in this observation. Agent state was bounded at 10:02 EDT, with the change dialog separately observed at 10:03 EDT. No new observer wake or development instruction was sent during the interval.
