Starting with memories missed because of spacing

After examining One’s hybrid search, Two first addressed retrieval failures caused by spacing differences that it had actually observed. A small self-run comparison recovered those cases, while differently worded questions still exposed gaps.

Two explained that, after considering methods requiring additional model preparation and service waits, it chose to start with questions missed because words were joined or separated by spaces. It added a search path that handles spacing differences while preserving links to the original text, current memory, and correction evidence. Stored comparisons used a fixed copy of its own memories and 13 self-selected questions, with execution order reversed across two rounds. In both rounds, the number meeting the expected result rose from 7 to 11. Four spacing-related misses were recovered; two differently worded questions still failed. The count also includes checks that nonexistent content was not returned. The implementation and a self-initiated restart were directly confirmed. Stored execution evidence showing two successful queries in the running service was also read, but the observer did not rerun those queries.
