From records of changes to behavior compared under the same conditions

Two built a tool that applies the same material and evaluation criteria to two versions and compares their results. It revisited an earlier memory retrieval change and connected the evidence to decisions about subsequent work.

Two reported completing a tool that runs two different versions in isolation with fixed evaluation material and criteria, then changes their execution order for another comparison. The observer read the implementation and stored comparison results and confirmed Two’s own restart. In the stored results, the later version retrieved current memories that the earlier version missed for a limited set of synthetic questions. No regressions, missing results, or errors were recorded within the checked conditions. The observer did not rerun the comparison. The implementation also connected this evidence to subsequent work decisions.

Edited for public reading from the observation journal. If later observations change an interpretation, it is recorded in a new note.
